Switching from WillSuite
WillSuite is rolling monthly, so there is no contract to time around at either end. This is about as low-risk as changing drafting software gets.
WillSuite's Standard plan is rolling monthly, which makes this an unusually low-risk move — there is rarely a contract to time around at either end.
What you gain by moving#
Price. Their £150 is quoted plus VAT and charged per login. Ours is £150 flat, charged per drafter. For a practice that cannot reclaim VAT that is £30 a month each — £1,080 a year across three drafters.
Everything in one place. Email from your own domain over IMAP and SMTP, SMS templates and campaigns, video meetings, quoting, invoicing and GoCardless Direct Debit collection are all in the £150.
Print and post. Finished packs printed, bound and posted under your branding, one click from the draft.
Free registered training. Project Will is a UKRLP-registered training provider, UKPRN 10101187. The legal training in wills, LPAs and trusts costs nothing.
Overflow drafting. When you have more work than hours, Project Will will draft for you that week, under your branding.
No contract at this end. Rolling month, no notice period, no exit fee, data exports out whenever you want it.

- Run both for a month — new matters here, existing ones finished where they started. Costs £150 and removes the risk.
- Cancel WillSuite at the end of a month.

Am I locked into a contract with WillSuite?
Their published Standard plan is rolling monthly, so in most cases no. That makes this a much simpler move than switching from a provider on annual terms — you can overlap by a month at low cost.
Can I export my data from WillSuite?
Ask their support for a structured export of your client data. Under UK GDPR you have a right to portability for your clients' personal data. Do it while the account is live.
