Quotes that become invoices#
Build a quote against the client record, send it branded as yours, and convert it to an invoice when it is accepted. No re-keying, and the quote stays on the record so you can see what was offered and when.
Getting paid, including in instalments#
A full estate planning package is a meaningful sum to ask for in one go, and instalments close work that a single invoice does not. GoCardless Direct Debit is connected to your own account, so collection is automatic and the money is yours.
Expenses and the accounts view#
Track what the practice spends, and see revenue, expenses, invoices raised, paid and outstanding for the month. Export to PDF for your accountant.
This is deliberately modest in scope. It is not a general ledger. What it is, is enough that a single-handed practitioner is not maintaining a spreadsheet in parallel with their client system and reconciling the two by hand.

Does Willo replace my accountant or my accounting software?
No. It handles quoting, invoicing, collection and expense tracking, and exports for your accountant. It is not a full ledger and we are not going to call it one.
How does GoCardless work here?
GoCardless collects by Direct Debit, which suits instalment arrangements — a common way to sell estate planning to clients who baulk at a single fee. You connect your own GoCardless account, so the money goes to you and their fees are between you and them.
Can I brand the invoices?
Yes. Invoice design, quote design and will design are all yours. Nothing goes to a client with our name on it.
