Terms of service

The terms you are agreeing to. Short, because there is not much to hide in a rolling monthly contract you can leave at any time.

Last updated 14 September 2026. Willo is provided by Project Will Ltd, Companies House 16839327, registered in England and Wales.

1. What Willo is#

Willo is document drafting and practice management software for estate planning professionals. It produces documents from the information you enter.

2. What Willo is not#

Willo is not legal advice, and Project Will Ltd is not a law firm. The software assembles documents from your instructions. It does not decide whether a trust is appropriate, whether your client has capacity, whether a gift is sensible, or whether the advice you are giving is correct.

You remain professionally responsible for the advice you give, the instructions you take, the documents you produce and the documents you allow to be executed. You should review every document before it leaves you. Validation in the software is a safety net, not a substitute for reading the thing.

You are responsible for holding appropriate professional indemnity insurance.

3. Subscription and payment#

£150 per calendar month, covering your practice — all users, unlimited documents, all features in the platform. Print and post fulfilment and will storage are charged separately.

Payment is monthly in advance. Fees may change; we will give you at least 30 days' notice in writing before any change takes effect, and you may cancel before it does.

4. Cancellation#

Cancel at any time. There is no minimum term, no notice period and no exit fee. Your subscription runs to the end of the month you have paid for, and we do not pro-rate refunds for part months.

Export your data before you go — see security and data.

5. Your account#

Keep your credentials secure and give each person in your practice their own account. Do not share logins. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

6. Your clients' data#

You are the data controller for your clients' personal data and we are the processor. See the privacy policy.

7. Availability#

We aim to keep Willo available continuously and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and you should not rely on the platform being reachable at a particular moment for a time-critical execution appointment.

8. Acceptable use#

Do not use Willo unlawfully, attempt to breach its security, resell access, or use it to produce documents you are not competent to produce.

9. Liability#

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill or indirect or consequential loss.

10. Governing law#

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
