What a department actually gains#
Turnaround. Drafting from structured answers rather than from a precedent someone has amended by hand removes the slowest and most error-prone step in producing a will.
Fewer amendments. Validation catches the executor appointed but never named, the specific gift that conflicts with the residue, the missing attestation. These are the things that come back from supervision and cost a second pass.
Consistency across fee earners. Everyone drafts from the same maintained clause set, so a will produced by a paralegal and one produced by a partner are structurally the same document.
You pay for drafters, not for seats. Willo is charged per drafter — the people actually producing documents — and there is no VAT on top. Supervisors and support staff reviewing work are not a second line on the invoice, which means nobody is sharing a login to save money. Shared logins destroy the audit trail and are a supervision and data protection problem in their own right.
Where responsibility sits#
Willo assembles documents from instructions. It does not advise on whether a trust is appropriate, on capacity, or on the tax position, and it is not a substitute for supervision. The fee earner reviews every document. We would rather state that plainly than let anyone infer otherwise from a marketing page.
