CTT's licence looks cheaper until you add VAT and count what is in it. Then the gap is £6 a month, and the question becomes what you get for it.
Short version. CTT Legacy's processing licence is £120 + VAT — £144 once VAT is added for a practice that cannot reclaim it, against Willo at £150 flat. Six pounds a month separates them on price, so the decision is really about what the £150 contains.

What the £6 buys#
At £144 against £150 the price is effectively level, which makes this an unusually clean comparison — you are choosing on what the subscription contains rather than on cost.
Willo's £150 includes the client CRM, email from your own domain over IMAP and SMTP, SMS templates and campaigns, video meetings, quoting, invoicing and GoCardless Direct Debit collection. If your current arrangement is a drafting licence plus a separate CRM at £30 and an invoicing tool at £20, that is £50 a month of tooling folded into the same number.
It also includes free UKRLP-registered training through Project Will — UKPRN 10101187 — and access to overflow drafting for the weeks you have more work than hours.
Licences and commitment#
CTT's model is licence-based. Ours is a rolling month with no notice period and no exit fee, and your data exports out whenever you want it. If you are weighing the two, the question worth asking CTT is what happens at the end of a licence term and what it costs to leave mid-term.

Their published packages page lists a Professional Processing Licence at £120 + VAT a month and a Professional Field Adviser Licence at £55 + VAT a month, checked 14 September 2026. Adding VAT, the processing licence is £144 actually leaving the account of a practice that cannot reclaim it.
What is the difference between the two CTT licences?
Their own materials distinguish a processing licence from a field adviser licence. Check directly with them which one covers the work you intend to do before comparing prices, because they are not equivalent products.
